Jobs at Superawesome.

Looks like we're hiring.

A small company, looking to stay small.

Growing together, instead of growing in numbers.

We strongly believe that creating a work environment where select few individuals can connect and care for each other is the one where we can do our best work in.

If you just read the above and your head went up and down in agreement, we think we might be a good fit.

Check out the open positions we are looking to fill with amazing people like yourself.

When you take a look at our portfolio, do you see something you can connect with? Do our clients' industries excite you? Is it the type of work you would enjoy doing?

This position is open primarily to people who are looking to make themselves the best designers they can possibly be. We don't care if you have years of experience, or if your stuff is not all that hot right now. If we see potential in you, we'd love to see what we can do together.

We're definitely looking for:

  • honest interest in design, user interfaces, and user experience,
  • genuine care about your work. We're not looking for someone to just crank the hours out,
  • clear verbal and written communication (in English, primarily). You will be expected to make stakeholders buy into your work which requires you to have a way with words, and be proactive about communicating things in general,
  • organizational skills, where you are comfortable about managing your workload.

It would be awesome if:

  • you are able to hand-code interfaces, or at least have a good understanding of the technologies used to bring your work to life,
  • you are able to recognize, and adopt as well as set design trends,
  • you had other complimentary skills often required in UI design such as illustration, icon design, experience in conducting usability tests, leading design workshops, etc.

Gig type

  • This is a full or part time job with flexible hours.
  • Job assumes you working from our Novi Sad office with the expectation of relocation to Novi Sad, depending on your situation.
  • Compensation depends on your skill level and engagement model. Nevertheless, expect to be compensated fairly.

Are you naturally organized? Are you known to bring order to a relationship or project that's gotten messy? Do you not hate the phone?

If we were talking about nuts and bolts, this job is managing expectations and keeping promises. The clients need to know when and if they can get something from us, how much it will cost them, and how's it going.

On the other hand, you will be creating new opportunities by making connections with other companies we'd like to work with.

We're looking for someone who will:

  • act as the main point of contact to our clients across our past, current, and future projects,
  • support our team and communicate their needs and requirements to the clients,
  • help onboard new clients,
  • keep the clients pro-actively informed through weekly progress reports,
  • keep our accounts payable, and accounts receivable in check,
  • help the team create and manage their schedules, and plan projects,
  • consistently reach out to potential clients and set up intro meetings in order to generate new business.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (there is no going around this),
  • Basic usage of a computer and basic “office type” applications (document editing, spreadsheets, calendar, etc).

It would be nice if you:

  • had worked in a design agency,
  • have executed collaborative projects before,
  • have experience in or around sales,
  • have appreciation for good design,
  • Familiarity or relationships within the startup community.

All candidates will be given a chance for a one-on-one with any of our employees, to ask questions and get a first-hand insight into how Superawesome runs.

We also suggest you have a look at our employee playbook as it goes through a lot of the things you might want to know.
